    Because Wyoming County in Western New York State (where I live) is largely agricultural, and because Governor Cuomo’s Administration here in New York State is on board with President Obama’s “green” energy train wreck via RPS mandates (thanks to ‘green’ cronies in high places!), Wyoming County has been targeted by industrial wind developers. There were originally over 2,000 industrial wind turbines scheduled to carpet our County. We have managed to limit that number to 308 on the west side of the Warsaw Valley (250 + another 58 going up in Orangeville this summer thanks to the extension of the PTC – “Pork To Cronies”). I have many friends whose homes have been rendered virtually worthless because they are now surrounded by giant 430 foot-tall spinning “Bird Cuisinarts” towering overhead, only 1100′ from the foundations of their homes (even industry standards recommend at least 1300 foot setbacks for safety reasons). As those who have done the research know – many Doctors and sound specialists recommend at least 1-mile setbacks.

    And as I’m sure you also already know – sadly, so many of our politicians and bureaucrats appear to be working for the companies – actively enabling the complete destruction of rural communities by these giant multi-national corporations for what amounts to a complete FRAUD, rather than protecting and serving the people who put them in office in the first place.

    This is why I have been writing about “The Wind Farm Scam” for nearly 10 years now.
