I am not a Nimby — by Michael Fairneny

I am not a Nimby…

I now call myself an “IMFY-AIP”….19 IWT’s are…”IN MY FRONT YARD-AND I’M PISSED”!!!

My peaceful world up here in Florida, MA has been turned into an Industrial Zone full of noise pollution and inaudible LFN (low frequency noise)…that has impacted us in ways that only the <1% of the population understands.  This project has altered my and my family’s life forever.

My wife’s hearing has been affected (documented by ear specialists) and continues to get worse (she has never had ear problems and her ears ring constantly when she is home) and my head aches around the clock when I am home.   This has been ongoing since the turbines started running in Dec, 2012.

Please believe me.  We are not making this up and unfortunately I don’t think we will be able to stay in our dream home.  If you want more info check out our website (hoosacwindproject.com).   Please do some research on Industrial Wind Turbines.   THEY ARE NOT BENIGN !!….and are causing problems on peoples health WORDWIDE.   People don’t move out of their homes for NO GOOD REASON.   If you don’t have real/true information, you are not in a position to make an accurate judgement.

The fact is people (me included) ARE being negatively affected by having IWT’s being installed way too close to our homes!! ….not to mention that statistically they only produce in the 20’s% of their nameplate capacity.   DO THE RESEARCH !!
